1. Where will the NYC Buckeyes be gathering to watch football for the 2010 season?
  Tonic Times Square

2. How the heck do I get to Tonic?
 

By Bus:   M 10, 8th Ave. & 50th St.

 

Subway:
N, R, W to 50th St. & 7th Ave. Station
1  to 50th St. & 7th Ave. Station
C, E to 50th St. Station

OR

1, 2, 3, 7, A, C, E, N, Q, R, W, S to Times Square and walk five blocks north.

By Train: PENN Station 34th St. & 8th Ave., then jump on one of the subways above.

3. If I am a paid member of the NYC Alumni Club, do I get any benefits?
 

You sure do. Paid members of the Club will have the opportunity to reserve seats before reservations are open to all non-paid members, as well as additional food/ drink discounts and participation in raffles and drawings. We’re still working on the “Members Only” jackets.

4. Is there a reservation policy for Tonic?
 

Yes. Below is the new reservation policy and how to grab yourself a seat. It’s so easy, a Wolverine could do it!

 

Dues Paying Members for 2010:
You will be notified via email the Sunday before the week’s game when reservations are available. All dues paying members will have the opportunity to reserve seats 24 hours prior to all other alumni and friends. There will not be a limitation on the number of seats you may reserve. All dues paying member reservations will be filled prior to opening reservations to the public.

 

Non-dues paying Alumni and Friends:

You will be notified vie email the Tuesday before the week’s game when reservations are available. Non-dues paying alumni and friends are limited to 4 people per reservation. Reservations will be filled in the order they are received.

 

How to Reserve your seats:

When you find out reservations are open, send an email to: osuacny.reservations@gmail.com. Early reservations will NOT be accepted.

Please include the following information:
Subject of Email: Game Watch Reservation _____ [fill in game date]

Name
Number of People in Party

Floor Preference (1, 2, or Mezzanine)

Party Requested to be Seated Next to

 

**Everyone making a reservation will receive a confirmation of receipt and whether or not the reservation has been filled within 48 hours.


5. Where will the game watch location be for night games?
 
 THERE WILL BE TWO GAME WATCH LOCATIONS FOR NIGHT GAMES:
TONIC TIMES SQUARE (727 7th Avenue) AND VILLAGE POURHOUSE (366 W. 46th Street)

TONIC TIMES SQUARE:

  • Tonic will only have the first floor available for night games
  • OSUACNY will take reservations for Tonic following the reservations policy outlined above


VILLAGE POURHOUSE:

  • Reservations for Village Pourhouse will be taken by Alex Freylikhman either by email or by calling 212-979-2337

  • If emailing reservations, please include the party name and number of attendees

  • Alex will confirm directly with you prior to the game


6. What’s the menu at Tonic?
 
Please check out the Tonic website for the regular menu. 

7. Are there any other Buckeye friendly bars in NYC?
  Of course! There are several bars throughout the city, besides our Alumni Club sponsored bars (Tonic and Bounce for night games) that are happy to have Buckeye fans in attendance for any game of the season. See the list below and check back as we are constantly adding bars to our list.
